2nd Update for 2017,

We are super excited to announce new changes in the Funky Karma Annex.

From the first, when we acquired the second building, my plan was to use it to help others to start their own businesses.  I had a difficult time beginning my business career, 35 years ago, because no one would help or give advice to me, I had to find my own way, and I did but let me tell you it was a hard pathway.  For the last 4 years we have endeavored to make it easier for new startups by paying the advertising and insurance costs, co oping the utilities and rents that normally each business has to assume all by themselves and introducing new businesses to our loyal Funky Karma customers.  Some of the ones who began here have flourished before moving to other spaces and some not but each had a chance to learn how to run and build a shopping experience.  We have had ups and downs but overall I think my vision was a success.

But now is a time for the Funky Karma to move on and concentrate on what we do best and that is retail.  I have built a very successful business here by searching the would for unique products that our customers need, want and love.  And so it is with great pleasure that we announce the opening of the entire annex, making room for the superior and unique Funky Karma products that you are used to finding in the original shop!  We are out of the rental business, except of course for the classroom which rents space for classes and meetings.

The small room is now the Dragon Room, dedicated to all things dragon… incense, oils, statues, books, tarot cards, oracle cards, tapestries, tote bags, journals, jewelry, candles, incense burners, jewelry boxes, tea, tea sets, tea pots, cups, chalices, art and so much more. More and more merchandise is arriving daily, so check back often to see the new and unique.

Next, the Buddha Room is moving back into the front room of the annex. I found many new to us Buddhas and Quan yins, as well as other great items for this area.  You will love these new additions.

Shop gets New Look!

Started an ambitious project this morning…might take 2 or 3 days to complete.  The Book Room merchandise is moving to the Baby Department and the Baby Department is moving into the Book Room.  That will allow everything to flow better…book room was getting too small for its inventory.  The Angels are moving somewhere, not sure exactly how they will fit or where but I know it will look great!!  Everything will remain open during this change over, but might be harder for me to remember where a certain item is during the transition.  One upside is that all of the books will shortly be organized into easier to find categories; everything will get new labels.  Thanks to Dianne for walking piles of books from one room to another and to Henry for stopping by after his work to move shelving.  When you are out and about come by and let me knew what you think about the new plan.
